The territory covered by thie university health center and social services includes some 345,000 employees which are served by more than 30 health centers.

The network includes one of Montreal’s main hospitals (the Jewish General Hospital) and a wide range of complementary care centers, including three specialized hospitals, five CLSCs, two rehabilitation centers,
six residential centers and long-term care, two day centers and several affiliated research centers.

The Challenge

Rapidly deploy different vaccination sites

Not only was the challenge for the CIUSSS West Island to build multiple vaccination teams, but it would also have to define, along the way, the most effective methods for managing multiple vaccination sites with different realities, including that of the Montreal-Trudeau airport, all while increasing its staff volume on a daily basis.

Fast and efficient implementation

After only 4 weeks, we are currently managing a team of around 500 employees with the Evolia app. It took around 2 weeks to test and implement the solution but we are delighted because we now save around 2h to 5h of work per day! We believe that the entire CIUSSS would benefit enormously from the use of Evolia for the other teams.

Evolia allows us to reach as many candidates and employees as possible in a few clicks and to fill shifts and replacements in record time. Messaging allows us to centralize our communications with employees and colleagues, so there is no need to use various platforms (Facebook, SMS, email, etc.) Everything is now in one place.

Like any new technology system, there is an adjustment period and questions. But the Evolia is always available and they are very open to hearing our suggestions to continue improving the system. In addition, they are very available when we encounter problems, real teamwork!
